"We awoke early on Day 2 of our Kangaroo Island tour and traveled across the island to a old jetty near Kingscode. Upon arrival it was perfectly calm and we could just see the reflections of the pylons  in the water but it wasn't long before sun started to paint the sky and the ranges red and the shadows slowly surrendered to the radiant sun.

I tried a few different angles but liked this angle best and enjoyed captured this 3 shot panorama. This image reminds me that adventure is a way of life if we chose to accept the challenge.

Hi! My name is John and Adventure Photography is my passion. I live in the Adelaide Hills with my beautiful wife Alicia and our two amazing sons Caleb and Benjamin.

With almost 20 years as a professional photographer, I love to capture moments. Whether it be adventure portraits, or capturing a thunderstorm that is literally lighting up the night. I also love the peace of capturing breathtaking sunsets and watching the last rays of light paint the sky.
